Vous avez manifeste le souhait de participer aux travaux preparatoires pour former une Section "Archives du Sport" du CIA lors du prochain congres de Vienne (Autriche) en aout 2004.

Nous vous proposons de nous rencontrer a Madrid (Espagne) a l'occasion de la prochaine reunion du Comite executif du CIA.

Cette reunion aura lieu le mardi 20 avril 2004 a Madrid de 15 h a 20 h a l'adresse suivante :

Les points suivants seront a debattre:

1° Objectifs de la future Section.

2° Organisation de la future Section : appellation precise, fonctionnement, candidatures.

3° Projet de texte a soumettre aux congressistes de Vienne definissant un programme d'action.

4° Evenement de communication avec les congressistes et la presse, personnalites du monde sportif a inviter.

5° Tous autres points utiles.

Notre journee de travail s'achevera autour d'un diner au restaurant.

Meeting of the Temporary Committee

Of the ICA Sports Section

Dear Colleagues,

First of all, I would like to thank the members of the Executive Committee of the ICA for approving my request of forming the Sports Section within the ICA, and to thank you for accepting to serve in this crucial section. The final approval for this formation will be announced during the ICA Congress to be held in Vienna, Austria, in August 2004.

Accordingly, our first meeting will take place in Madrid on Tuesday April 20, 2004 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the premises of the Ministry of Interior which is located in the following address:

The following items will be discussed:

1- Election of the Section's members

2- Mission, vision, objectives of the sports section

3- Discussion of papers related to the section

4- Discussion of the papers to be submitted to the ICA Congress in Vienna.

5- Pilot study

6- Official announcement for the formation of the Sports Section during the ICA Congress.

7- Suggestions/comments

The session ends with a dinner in the restaurant.
